Woolwich Polytechnic Sixth Form was proud to be invited to the offices of Latham & Watkins to attend a legal presentation, participate in a Q&A session and network with solicitors. Solicitors at Latham & Watkins discussed their journey from secondary school to their careers as solicitor to provide practical, and professional, career guidance on a rewarding career in law. Pupils also met with a current trainee solicitor and Head of HR to discuss recent changes to qualify as a solicitor. All pupils had an excellent time discussing the subjects, skills and expectations of studying law and working in the legal sector. Pupils represented the Sixth Form wonderfully with 1 pupil being contacted by the Head of HR to discuss work experience! The Sixth Form is very lucky to use our contacts to provide these opportunities to our pupils.
